Change is coming for Wards 11 & 13 for our Public School Trustee.
Our current Trustee, Nancy Close, is not running for re-election and as a result 4 candidates have put their names forward for the position. Nancy has been great in the past at responding to questions and helping find out information. I am hopeful that we can establish a similar relationship with the new trustee. We need to find the candidate that will follow up on the issues that affect our Communities. Ie: the lack of schools, bussing, overcrowding at bus receiver schools. Etc.
I would like to submit a list of questions to each of the candidates and have them all respond. Personally I have some questions that I would like to have all the candidates answer, but I would like your input as well. If you have a question that you would like to have answered by the four candidates, please email it to me at http://publicschoolliaison@somersetbridlewood.ca
I will gather together the first 6 questions that are emailed to me by Wednesday, Oct 10 at 6:00 pm. These questions, along with one or two of my own, will be sent to all the candidates with a request for them to answer them by Friday Oct 12th.
The answers will be posted here, on the Somerset/Bridlewood Community Association website at http://www.somersetbridlewood.ca/ on this blog.
If you would like to research more about the 4 candidates – they are:

Karen Kryczka - www.kryczka.com http://www.kryczka.com/
Neil Mackie – www.neilmackie.ca http://www.neilmackie.ca/

Thank you for your participation and I hope you will all have the opportunity to vote on October 15th.
Sincerely,
Sheila Swan
